Falling

Falling was the first painting in the Journey Into Colour series and my love affair with this very limited three colour palette.  As well as exploring the colour I also wanted to look at shapes and how they sat together to create both contrast and harmony.  Although the colours are somewhat soft and restful, the feeling of the blocks toppling and falling brings a certain tension to the painting.
